Moving On 2012

It's been a very eventful January,
New Job, Shan Ni's Departure, Chinese New Year,
I guess that's as much I can handle for now.

Since today is the Birthday of All Human,
I think I want to make some new year resolution (haven't make that for some time now)

1) Of course to be able handle my new job well (I've been reading more than I can imagine!)

2) Have more self discipline (It's a very important criteria to be successful)

3) Love my family, myself, and all those who loves me, more and more each day!

4) Savings!!!! for a trip or something in 2013? I'm gonna be 30 by then.... hehe... a trip should be a good way to celebrate. xD

I think its all good enough, need to have quality resolution rather than quantity :-p

I didnt get to bid her good bye. Could not help but being very emo n sad about this.

Thanks to all my friend for their concerns.

Some of the things I need to continuously bare in mind:-

know that every life has a beginning and an end

and she's still around

and whatever happened is fated

why should you be sad when she has already moved on?

its not a sad thing

its not like she 'vanished'

she's still around, living another life, taking on her new destiny

impermanence, there's no beginning there's no end

she's still with us, just in another form that's all

you just need to know that when she was alive she was happy and

you were happy and you loved and appreciated each other

that's all you can do and that's it

just have to understand, and let go and wish her well

really, just know that she is around...

in another form...

she is fulfilling her other destiny

i understand that there are memories...

but love will always be there, no matter what form she takes

if you love someone you have to know that in the end it is about her not about you...

if she's happy, and if you love her you will let her go

　　人：可是我现在的妻子无比温柔，善良，贤惠，我这样做是否有些残忍而又不道德呢？
　　佛：在婚姻中没有爱才是真正的残忍和不道德，您现在爱上别人而不爱她了，这样做是正确的。

母亲为了我，所以忍声吞气的维持这婚姻。

莫待子欲养而亲不在！

1980年,王希海的父亲因脑出血成了植物人。母亲体弱多病,弟弟又患有先天性肢体残疾,不能就业,全家的重担都落在了当时仅有23岁的王希海的肩上。面对这样的情况,王

希海先是毅然放弃了去马来西亚工作的机会,后来又向单位请了长假,直至最后下岗失业,25年来一直照顾生活不能自理的父亲。当时他就在心底发誓:一定要让父亲活到80岁。　　　　　王希海有两个哥哥和一个姐姐。王希海看到哥哥姐姐都已经成家,家里也挺困难,就主动肩负起照顾父亲的责任。为了防止父亲得褥疮,他每天都会每隔半个小时就给父亲翻一次身,白天还要把父亲扶到轮椅上坐半小时到1小时,而且还要给父亲按摩、敲背五六遍。为了让父亲躺得舒服,他用8个枕头垫在后背、腿下等不同部位。　　　　　王希海一直要照顾父亲到半夜12点半以后,后半夜由母亲替换。此外,王希海一天还要洗两大盆衣服或床单等衣物。母亲心疼儿子,让儿子去工作,自己照顾老伴,可儿子说:"你可不能倒了,要那样,两个人我也伺候不过来呀。"　　　　　为了照顾父亲,他放弃了工作和个人婚姻,超过50岁的王希海早已过了该成家的年纪。在他的生命中最重要的就是父亲。他说:"如果成了家,肯定会以家庭为第一位,照顾父亲的时间就少了;而我不成家,那父亲永远是第一位。这些年来,有许多人要给我介绍对象,但我不能放弃父母,我首先要做好的是一个儿子的角色。我觉得我很满足。"　　　　　王希海年轻时最大的心愿是当一名船员,但为了父亲不得不放弃了。他说:"父亲的病我治不了,但在生活上、精神上给他安慰、照顾,却是我能做到的。只要父亲活着,我就感到高兴,感到幸福。"　　　　　(附记:王希海的父亲已于2005年底平静去世,王希海现在是某企业的门卫,我们真诚地希望王希海生活美满幸福。)

A crazy day

i guess i should start the story with the day before the crazy day, there was this show i was assisting with the sound n on before show like less than 24 hour notice the engineer FFK, i nearly shit on my pants when they say if I were need to do it.. >.< but luckily they found replacement. so to be safe i try to go home n study something.

then the next day, it was a raining n jam morning, by following the community GPS, I enter a wrong highway which takes me to PUTRAJAYA , whereby I actually need to go Jalan Tun Razak @_@ & i was cruising with my green hornet... good anot?

reached the venue finally, set up not yet done, sound checked delayed.. system not properly done..yada yada yada... but luckily, i kinda pass the test in assisting the sound la.. my teacher gave me a C ....haha..

after that, still I need to go office to settle some work...>.< sad case... I seriously need to find a way to put an end to this.

yeah... n so my crazy day ends with 2 nasi lemak n a Oo Long Tea!

大丈夫事

曾经大量略的算一算自身的紫薇斗数，里面用一段经典词句说明了我需要修改的地方。。

[原文]

月到梧桐上，风来杨柳边，大丈夫不可无此襟怀；
海阔从鱼跃，天空任鸟飞，大丈夫不可无此度量；
珠藏川自媚，玉韫山含辉，大丈夫不可无此蕴藉；

态度与进度

近期内的转变开始令我感到吃不消。
原来，自己纵容已旧的习气在要面对现在一摞摞的改变是一个很大的考验。
在开始感到自己的进度很慢时，大哥提醒到，个人的态度对进度是很直接的影响。
自己本身的三分钟热度的态度真的非改进不可。
这影响到我的专注力，心情散漫，头脑容易累，最近还会频频头昏脑涨。
还有，自己太过容易放弃，遇到挫折就容易气馁，常常虎头蛇尾，老实说，我开始很讨厌这样的我。

所谓，有志者事竟成，怕的是我没有志向！
学佛，学了那么久，都没有把佛法应用在日常生活上，我真是个伪君子佛教徒！

爱一个人就是毫无保留地付出吗？ 不是。每一个人都是一个独立的人，我们首先是属于自己的，我们有思想，我们有个性，而不是把我们的全部都给对方。我们可以有保留，比如你不愿意说的隐私，有秘密的人才是成熟的，不是吗？有时候不说出来反而更好。

外貌和个性哪个更重要？

男人年轻的时候往往喜欢漂亮的女子，25岁以后，会选择和自己性格合适的女子，能和自己一起过日子的人。喜欢一个人，太急切了，反而不好。一是因为越想得到的越得不到；二是得到了也很难珍惜，来得快去得也快。细水长流一些，爱情会更长久。相爱容易相处难。相处中最重要的是宽容和妥协，在信任和了解的基础上。没有宽容和妥协，任何两个人都无法相处。

纯纯的爱也许只有一次，但是真爱未必只有一次。

时间会抚平一切伤痕。我们其实是可以爱上很多人的。我们不是喜欢某个人，而是喜欢某种类型的人。先来的人和我们相遇了，于是我们幸福地走到了一起；对于后到的人，只能抱以歉意，同时，祝福他早日找到属于他自己的幸福。没有谁是我们一生非拥有不可的，爱一个人，很多时候实际上是习惯了这个人

现实和浪漫哪个更重要？

现实。没有现实为基础，浪漫就是空中楼阁。大学校园的爱情往往随着毕业而告终，大多是因为不现实，不在一个城市。 只有相互欣赏相互佩服各有所长的人，才会碰撞出最美丽的火花，也才会结出最甜美的爱情果实。

分手后我们还可以做朋友吗？

最好不要。剪不断，理还乱。过去了就过去了，我们不是生活在过去，而是现在。爱情不等于生活，只是生活的一部分。不要因为自己长相不如对方而放弃追求的打算，长相只是一时的印象，真正决定能否结合主要取决于双方的性格。我见过的帅哥配丑女，丑女配帅哥的太多了。

恋爱的时间能长尽量长。这最少有两点好处：

一，充分、尽可能长的享受恋爱的愉悦，

二，两人相处时间越长，越能检验彼此是否真心，越能看出两人性格是否合得来。

想知道一个人爱不爱你，就看他和你在一起有没有活力，开不开心，有就是爱，没有就是不爱

爱情不是感动，你不是他心目中的理想伴侣，即使一时接受你，将来碰上他心仪的那一位，一样会离开你。

有些人情绪容易大起大落，这样的人是很难维持一段长久的关系的。

浪漫是什么？

是送花？雨中漫步？楼前伫立不去？如果两人彼此倾心相爱，什么事都不做，静静相对都会感觉是浪漫的。否则，即使两人坐到月亮上拍拖，也是感觉不到浪漫的。

是否门当户对不要紧，最重要应该是兴当趣对，不然没有共同语言，即使在一起，仍然会感觉到孤独。

持久的爱情源于彼此发自内心的真爱，建立在平等的基础之上。任何只顾疯狂爱人而不顾自己有否被爱，或是只顾享受被爱而不知真心爱人的人都不会有好的结局。爱情既是风险投资，难免有去无回，失恋是再正常不过的事情。爱过，就够了。既然不能在一起，总有不能在一起的理由。不能因为别人负了你，就不负责任地游戏、报复或是堕落，自己演的戏，总要自己收场的。何况，他不爱你，你做什么他都不会在乎。如果爱上，就不要轻易放过机会。莽撞，可能使你后悔一阵子；怯懦，却可能使你一辈子后悔。

没有经历过爱情的人生是不完整的，没有经历过痛苦的爱情是不深刻的。爱情使人生丰富，痛苦使爱情升华。你可能习惯与现在的恋人，明明不太喜欢，但在一起久了，习惯使人不太愿做新的选择。人生会面临无数次选择。当给你机会选择时，你一定要谨慎；一旦你做出了选择，就永远不要后悔；拿得起，放得下，该断则断，该忘记的，就把它忘记；该珍惜的，就要把它珍惜。

我们总说：“我要找一个很爱很爱的人，才会谈恋爱。” 但是当对方问你，怎样才算是很爱很爱的时候，你却无法回答他，因为你自己也不知道。

没错，我们总是以为，我们会找到一个自己很爱很爱的人。可是后来，当我们猛然回首，我们才会发觉自己曾经多么天真。假如从来没有开始，你怎么知道自己会不会很爱很爱那个人呢？其实，很爱很爱的感觉，是要在一起经历了许多事情之后才会发现的。或许每个人都希望能够找到自己心目中百分之百的伴侣，但是你有没有想过，在你身边会不会早已经有人默默对你付出很久了，只是你没有发觉而已呢？

所以，还是仔细看看身边的人吧，他或许已经等你很久了。当你爱一个人的时候，爱到八分绝对刚刚好。所有的期待和希望都只有七八分，剩下两三分用来爱自己。如果你还继续爱得更多，很可能会给对方沉重的压力，让彼此喘不过气来，完全丧失了爱情的乐趣。

所以请记住，喝酒不要超过六分醉，吃饭不要超过七分饱，爱一个人不要超过八分。

Was introduced by my friend bout this Video called Biology of Perception. Please find time to view all of it. Coz it really changes our mind on the way we think about our body and the true concept of health issues such as cancers...

Then, I coincidencely saw this Chinese Doctor's talk about how our behaviour actually effects our organ. This clip specifically hit me in the face as I have a bad digestion problem and it does point out some of the cause that I dont realise. Thus, this links to the video above that our perception and behavior does effects our body!

The fox-like Finnish Spitz is lively and agile, quick and light on his feet.

He plays hard and enjoys vigorous exercise, especially in the snow. Without enough activity (physical and mental), this creative thinker will become bored and perhaps destructive.

He is very people-oriented and needs a great deal of companionship, especially from his favorite person. He doesn't like being left alone,and because of his extremely sensitive nature, he doesn't do well in an environment with frequent tension or loud voices.

The Finnish Spitz is sharp-eyed and keen of hearing and will immediately alert when he sees or hears anything unusual.

Conservative with strangers, he requires early and frequent socialization to ensure that his caution does not become suspicion or shyness. He also needs early physical handling as he often does not like being examined.

Typically bold with other dogs, he can be jealous and scrappy with those of the same sex and predatory with rodents and birds.

The Finnish Spitz learns quickly but is clever and independent and thus challenging to train.

These vocal dogs will greet you with throaty sounds of crooning, purring, and yodeling. They love to bark, and their barking pattern is high-pitched, piercing, and rapid (more than 150 barks per minute). If left outside unattended, they can drive neighbors up the wall.

If you want a dog who...

* Is medium-sized and looks like a furry orange-red fox
* Is lively and agile, quick moving and light on his feet
* Enjoys vigorous exercise and athletic activities
* Makes a keen watchdog

A Finnish Spitz may be right for you.

If you don't want to deal with...

* High energy level requiring plenty of exercise
* "Separation anxiety" (destructiveness and barking) when left alone too much
* Suspiciousness or timidity toward strangers when not socialized enough
* Potential aggression toward other animals -- chasing instincts
* Stubbornness (mind of his own)
* Emotional sensitivity to stress and loud voices
* Heavy shedding
* Extreme vocalness, including barking and yodeling

A Finnish Spitz may not be right for you.

If I were considering buying or adopting a Finnish Spitz

My major concerns would be:

1. Providing enough exercise and mental stimulation. Finnish Spitz MUST have regular opportunities to vent their energy and to use their busy minds to do interesting things. Otherwise they will become rambunctious and bored -- which they usually express by barking and destructive chewing.

2. Separation anxiety. Finnish Spitz need a great deal of companionship and do not like being left alone for more than a few hours. They tend to express their unhappiness through destructive chewing and barking.

3. Providing enough socialization. Standoffish by nature, Finnish Spitz need extensive exposure to people and to unusual sights and sounds. Otherwise their natural caution can become shyness or suspiciousness, which are difficult to live with.

4. Animal aggression. Some Finnish Spitz are dominant or aggressive toward other dogs of the same sex. Many have strong instincts to chase and seize cats and other fleeing creatures. This can make for conflict if you own a cat. It may be much worse than that if you own a pet rabbit or hamster!

5. Fence security. Some Finnish Spitz are clever escape artists who will go over or under fences in search of adventure. To keep your Finnish Spitz in, you may need higher fences than you might imagine for their small size. You may also need to sink wire into the ground along the fence line to thwart digging. Gates should have the highest quality locks.

Finnish Spitz cannot be trusted off-leash. They will take off -- oblivious to your frantic shouts -- after anything that runs.

6. Mind of his own. Finnish Spitz can be stubborn and manipulative. Many Finnish Spitz are willful, obstinate, and dominant (they want to be the boss) and will make you prove that you can make them do things. You must show them, through absolute consistency, that you mean what you say.

To teach your Finnish Spitz to listen to you, "Respect Training" is mandatory. My Finnish Spitz Training Page discusses the program you need.

7. Emotional sensitivity. Be honest...is there tension in your home? Are people loud or angry or emotional? Are there arguments or fights? Finnish Spitz are extremely sensitive to stress and can end up literally sick to their stomachs, with digestive upsets and neurotic behaviors, if the people in their home are having family problems. Finnish Spitz thrive only in a peaceful, harmonious home.

8. Heavy shedding. Finnish Spitz shed a LOT. You'll find hair and fur all over your clothing, upholstery, carpeting, and under your furniture.

9. Barking. Finnish Spitz are extremely vocal dogs, quick to sound the alarm at every new sight and sound. You have to be equally quick to stop them. If you have close neighbors, Finnish Spitz are not a good choice for you. For the same reason, Finnish Spitz should never be left outside in your yard, unsupervised. To make matters worse, many Finnish Spitz have intense, rapid, high-pitched barks that can set your teeth on edge.

突然重看败犬女王，看到卢卡斯说的一段台词令我有感而发。

他说：向你们这个年纪的女人，条件真的比感觉重要吗？
谈恋爱如果只剩下条件的话，不是很悲惨吗？
条件能让你快乐吗？还是条件能让你幸福？
当你靠近一个人，那种心跳加速，害羞的感觉你还有吗？我有。

这段话有点相识最近发生在我身上的事情。

但是，感觉也不一定会永久，如果感觉没了？那是否又要去寻找感觉回来？还是寻找新的感觉？
世事无常。感情也无常。

但愿我能有幸的遇到有感觉，条件合配的有缘人。 ^_^

暂别夜班

其实，我还蛮享受这两年多接近三年的夜班的生活。
虽然，长久的晚班会影响健康，可是它的好处也不见得少。
当我值晚班的时候，前一个星期天，可以比较迟睡。
星期一早上可以去忙银行的琐碎事，顺道载妈妈去巴刹。
中午还可以睡个午觉，陪陪狗狗胡闹。
上班时不必塞车，下班也不必塞车。
上班时也少点干扰。
下班回家的路程，夜深人静时，可以让头脑有点平静。
之后，再陪陪狗狗，然后，呼呼大睡到中午。
啊~ 写着写着，突然有种失落感了。。。。唉~
希望能我早日能恢复晚班吧。。。

不生分别心

八十八佛大忏悔文的忏悔作用很大，要不然寺院中为什么把它列入晚课中作为必修内容呢？
八十八佛是五十三佛加三十五佛。五十三佛名见《观药王药上二菩萨经》，是婆婆世界的过去佛；三十五佛名出《决定毗尼经》，是现在十方世界的佛。这八十八佛都可以为众生作忏悔主，因此，人们可以向他们申述自己改悔过恶的愿望。法古时规定，念《大忏悔文》须行一百零八礼，现代则多跪诵而不礼拜了。但末学觉得念得时候还是可以随着音乐心中默拜，这样效果应该更好吧。

从“ 南无普光佛”到“南无一切法常满王佛”为五十三佛，出自《佛说观药王药上二菩萨经》。药上菩萨宣说了佛名，过去七佛于经中言：“善哉善哉善男子汝所宣说五十三佛。乃是过去久远旧住娑婆世界。成熟众生而般涅盘。若有善男子善女人及余一切众生。得闻是五十三佛名者。是人于百千万亿阿僧祇劫不堕恶道。若复有人能称是五十三佛名者。生生之处常得值遇十方诸佛。若复有人能至心敬礼五十三佛者。除灭四重五逆及谤方等皆悉清净。以是诸佛本誓愿故。于念念中即得除灭如上诸罪。尸弃如来毗舍浮如来。拘留孙如来拘那含牟尼如来迦叶如来。亦赞是五十三佛名。亦复赞叹善男子善女人。能闻是五十三佛名者。能称名者能敬礼者。除灭罪障如上所说。”有如是大利益故，末学推荐各位网友有缘念诵。

　　本师释迦牟尼佛，因众多因缘而化现与世，而本师所以与贤劫千佛出兴与世，与往昔末法闻是五十三佛名大有关系，所以在本经中亦作是言：“尔时释迦牟尼佛告大众言。我曾往昔无数劫时。于妙光佛末法之中出家学道。闻是五十三佛名。闻已合掌心生欢喜。复教他人令得闻持。他人闻已展转相教。乃至三千人。此三千人异口同音。称诸佛名一心敬礼。以是敬礼诸佛因缘功德力故。即得超越无数亿劫生死之罪。其千人者花光佛为首。下至毗舍浮佛。于庄严劫得成为佛过去千佛是也。此中千佛者。拘留孙佛为首。下至楼至如来。于贤劫中次第成佛。后千佛者。日光如来为首。下至须弥相。于星宿劫中当得成佛。佛告宝积。十方现在诸佛善德如来等。亦曾得闻是五十三佛名故。于十方面各皆成佛。”

I like to wake up naturally in the morning.
As I walk down the stairs I see the both of you wagging your tails and awaits for me happily.
I like to cook my delicious instant ramen with all the extra goodies that my lovely mom prepared.
I enjoy just sitting around having my connection with both of you and while my mom laugh at our joy.
I like to keep my house clean & neat whenever possible n I can lay around my small cozy living hall.
I like this kinda of cloudy evening and sometimes some rains to wash off some heat.
I like to have a free an easy weekend to ease off myself.

对号入座

我发觉我自己是一个非常会对号入座的人。
严格来讲，我很自以为是，自尊心太高导致严重的自卑。
这种病还会导致我常常转牛角尖。
久而久之，就会想什么都不管，可是酱，好像只把问题放在一边，并没有解决问题。
当因某些事，事情再爆发时，我又用我的习气去对待。
我是很严重需要的去实行看破，放下这个解决方案。

2010 Mid Year Review

Hmm... Its been 6 months for year 2010. Bout the list that I need to achieve by this year, looks kinda hard to achieve. & there are changes now.

1. To be able to swim! (hmm... havent been doing that for 6 months...)
2. Practice piano on a daily basis. (hmm... havent been doing that for 6 months...)
3. To be able to save up 5k by Dec 2010.( need to find more jobs?)
4. Play squash/do yoga at least once a week. (Squash might be out of the scope coz of the sprained ankles)
5. Finish reading the Harry Potter books.(returned the books without finishing them... sighs)
6. Be discipline! (tell me bout it)
7. Get a pair of new sport shoes. (dont think so)
8. Get a new squash racket. (neither)
9. To talk less n work more. (according to the horoscope forecast, I need to practise that to keep myself away from trouble) (need to keep that in mind)
10. Perhaps a small vacation in Malaysia if I've achieved all the above things :-) (looks like its not gonna happen)

Seriously, I need some major attitude change. Common' women! Get ur ass moving!

外貌和個性哪個更重要？

男人年輕的時候往往喜歡漂亮的女子，25歲以後，會選擇和自己性格合適的女子，能和自己一起過日子的人。

喜歡一個人，太急切了，反而不好。一是因為越想得到的越得不到；二是得到了也很難珍惜，來得快去得也快。細水長流一些，愛情會更長久。

相愛容易相處難。相處中最重要的是寬容和妥協，在信任和瞭解的基礎上。沒有寬容和妥協，任何兩個人都無法相處。

純純的愛也許只有一次，但是真愛未必只有一次。時間會撫平一切傷痕。

我們其實是可以愛上很多人的。我們不是喜歡某個人，而是喜歡某種類型的人。先來的人和我們相遇了，於是我們幸福地走到了一起；對於後到的人，只能抱以歉意，同時，祝福他早日找到屬於他自己的幸福。

沒有誰是我們一生非擁有不可的，愛一個人，很多時候實際上是習慣了這個人

現實和浪漫哪個更重要？

現實。沒有現實為基礎，浪漫就是空中樓閣。大學校園的愛情往往隨著畢業而告終，大多是因為不現實，不在一個城市。只有相互欣賞相互佩服各有所長的人，才會碰撞出最美麗的火花，也才會結出最甜美的愛情果實。

分手後我們還可以做朋友嗎？

最好不要。剪不斷，理還亂。過去了就過去了，我們不是生活在過去，而是現在。愛情不等於生活，只是生活的一部分。

不要因為自己長相不如對方而放棄追求的打算，長相只是一時的印象，真正決定能否結合主要取決於雙方的性格。見過的帥哥配醜女，醜女配帥哥的太多了。

戀愛的時間能長儘量長。這最少有兩點好處：一，充分、盡可能長的享受戀愛的愉悅，二，兩人相處時間越長，越能檢驗彼此是否真心，越能看出兩人性格是否合得來。

想知道一個人愛不愛你，就看他和你在一起有沒有活力，開不開心，有就是愛，沒有就是不愛

愛情不是感動，你不是他心目中的理想伴侶，即使一時接受你，將來碰上他心儀的那一位，一樣會離開你。有些人情緒容易大起大落，這樣的人是很難維持一段長久的關係的。

浪漫是什麼？

是送花？雨中漫步？樓前佇立不去？如果兩人彼此傾心相愛，什麼事都不做，靜靜相對都會感覺是浪漫的。否則，即使兩人坐到月亮上拍拖，也是感覺不到浪漫的。

是否門當戶對不要緊，最重要應該是興當趣對，不然沒有共同語言，即使在一起，仍然會感覺到孤獨。

持久的愛情源於彼此發自內心的真愛，建立在平等的基礎之上。任何只顧瘋狂愛人而不顧自己有否被愛，或是只顧享受被愛而不知真心愛人的人都不會有好的結局。

愛情既是風險投資，難免有去無回，失戀是再正常不過的事情。愛過，就夠了。既然不能在一起，總有不能在一起的理由。不能因為別人負了你，就不負責任地遊戲、報復或是墮落，自己演的戲，總要自己收場的。何況，他不愛你，你做什麼他都不會在乎。

如果愛上，就不要輕易放過機會。莽撞，可能使你後悔一陣子；怯懦，卻可能使你一輩子後悔。沒有經歷過愛情的人生是不完整的，沒有經歷過痛苦的愛情是不深刻的。愛情使人生豐富，痛苦使愛情昇華。

你可能習慣與現在的戀人，明明不太喜歡，但在一起久了，習慣使人不太願做新的選擇。人生會面臨無數次選擇。當給你機會選擇時，你一定要謹慎；一旦你做出了選擇，就永遠不要後悔；拿得起，放得下，該斷則斷，該忘記的，就把它忘記；該珍惜的，就要把它珍惜

我們總說：“我要找一個很愛很愛的人，才會談戀愛。”但是當對方問你，怎樣才算是很愛很愛的時候，你卻無法回答他，因為你自己也不知道。

沒錯，我們總是以為，我們會找到一個自己很愛很愛的人。可是後來，當我們猛然回首，我們才會發覺自己曾經多麼天真。假如從來沒有開始，你怎麼知道自己會不會很愛很愛那個人呢？其實，很愛很愛的感覺，是要在一起經歷了許多事情之後才會發現的。或許每個人都希望能夠找到自己心目中百分之百的伴侶，但是你有沒有想過，在你身邊會不會早已經有人默默對你付出很久了，只是你沒有發覺而已呢？

所以，還是仔細看看身邊的人吧，他或許已經等你很久了。當你愛一個人的時候，愛到八分絕對剛剛好。所有的期待和希望都只有七八分，剩下兩三分用來愛自己。如果你還繼續愛得更多，很可能會給對方沉重的壓力，讓彼此喘不過氣來，完全喪失了愛情的樂趣。

所以請記住，喝酒不要超過六分醉，吃飯不要超過七分飽，愛一個人不要超過八分。如果你也正在為愛迷惘，或許下面這段話可以給你一些啟示：愛一個人，要瞭解也要開解；要道歉也要道謝；要認錯也要改錯；要體貼也要體諒；是接受而不是忍受；是寬容而不是縱容；是支持而不是支配；是慰問而不是質問；是傾訴而不是控訴；是難忘而不是遺忘；是彼此交流而不是凡事交代；是為對方默默祈求而不是向對方諸多要求。可以浪漫，但不要浪費，不要隨便牽手，更不要隨便放手。

浪漫的人這樣描述與愛人的相逢：千萬人當中，在時間的無涯的荒野裏，沒有早一步，也沒有晚一步，剛巧趕上了。兩個人好著的時候，你不妨就這樣想吧。如果不好了，你要明白是否和某人在一起，不過是一個再簡單不過的概率問題。數千個擦肩而過中，你給誰機會誰就和你有緣分，縱沒有甲，也會有乙。別傻等那種想像中的木石前盟般的緣分了，生活中哪有那麼多傳奇。別醒著做夢了，難道你忘了藝術雖然來源生活，卻還高於生活嗎？

从前有个书生，和未婚妻约好在某年某月某曰结婚。到那一天，未婚妻却嫁给了别人。书生受此打击，一病不起。这时，路过一游方僧人，从怀里摸出一面镜子叫书生看……

书生看到茫茫大海，一名遇害的女子一丝不挂地躺在海滩上。路过一人，看一眼，摇摇头，走了。又路过一人，将衣服脱下，给女尸盖上，走了。再路过一人，过去，挖个坑，小心翼翼把尸体掩埋了。僧人解释道，那具海滩上的女尸，就是你未婚妻的前世。你是第二个路过的人，曾给过他一件衣服。她今生和你相恋，只为还你一个情。但是她最终要报答一生一世的人，是最后那个把她掩埋的人，那人就是他现在的丈夫。。书生大悟。

前世，究竟是谁埋的你？
孟婆说：“行路的人，喝碗孟婆汤解解渴。”口渴的人心急的喝了。于是，那个前世埋她们的人，在她们头脑中渐渐模糊了。她们开始惊惶的四处张望，妄图在茫茫人海中寻找今生的爱人。

“众里寻它千百度，蓦然回首，那人却在灯火阑珊处。”其实，你携起他的手时，就是前世残存的记忆在提醒你了，前世埋你的人，就是你身边与你相濡以沫的爱人啊。

那谁又是上辈子葬你的人哦？每个人都等到了吗?

真爱与佛

　　我是个虔诚的人，问佛：“ 请告诉我可以同性相爱吗？”
　　佛语：“为什么不可以？”
　　我问：“但世人不认为这样啊。”
　　佛语：“世人？”
　　我疑惑了：“是啊！怎么了”
　　“那是世人根本很多都不知道真爱罢。”佛答。
　　“真的吗？”
　　佛语：“是啊，我给你说个事实吧。”
　　“ 好的。”

　　“曾经有一位向佛的王子，但他禁不住情欲的诱惑，放不下感情的包裹，因为有一个很爱很爱他的女孩。”佛说“有一天，他来到我面前问我该怎么做，我问他那个女子是不是真的很爱他，他说是的，很爱很爱，不管发生什么事都一样爱。”
　　“然后呢？”我问。
　　“然后？没有然后了。”佛叹了一口气。
　　“为什么？为什么没有然后？”我不信。
　　“然后，王子就彻底归依释门了啊。”佛看着我，说道。
　　“为什么？我不明白，不是有个很爱他的女孩吗？”
　　“爱？真的爱吗？那不是真爱啊，有多少世人懂得真爱啊？”佛语。
　　“为什么！！？”
　　“我告诉他，有一个方法可以证明女子对他的爱有多深，他去做了，结果，他很失望。”佛语。
　　“怎么做的？”我不解。

　　“用我的法力将他变成了一个女子。然后，爱他的女子见他已不再是以前那个英俊的王子，便含泪离开了他，而这个王子，也从此大彻大悟，因为她爱的是他的人，而不是他的心。”佛语。
　　“我懂了”我说。
　　“所以，真正的爱是不管对方是什么人都去爱的才叫真爱。”佛语，“只要有真爱，又有什么是不可以的呢？地位，年龄，乃至性别，都不是重要的啊，重要的是真爱，爱他的人，更要爱他的心啊。
　　“你刚才说的王子是谁啊？”
　　“谁？”佛微微一笑，“现在世人都称他为'观世音'”

佛教和其他宗教的区别

　　我归纳比较的结果，认为佛法和其他的宗教有七个大不相同之点：

　　佛法与其他宗教的第一个不相同点：“佛法否认教主造世界及最初的开始”。

　　所有一切的宗教，除佛教外，其他任何宗教都有一个共同的特点，那就是：他们都相信有一个万能的教主，一个神圣不可侵犯的教主；教主创造世界，创造人类，教主什么都能做，什么都可以做。

　　可是佛法却不承认有这么一个创造世界万能全能的教主，因为佛法在基本理论上，根本不承认有一个创造世界的最初开始。佛法的理论：“开始”这个观念，是因人类“有限”的心理，不能涵括万千的因果关系，为其本身的假定罢了。

　　让我举一个例子来帮助说明。譬如讲今天这个演讲吧，大家都说，是八点钟开始，九点钟终了。所以我们说这个演讲绝不是一个最初的开始。因为显而易见地，在演讲开始之前，还有其他许多“因果相续”关系的存在。八点钟以前，各位或在家中，或在其他地方，纷纷到这里来。这些都是在演讲会以前所发生的事。对这些事而论，八点钟的演讲是终了而不是开始。演讲会之后，各位又纷纷散去，坐车的坐车，走步的走步，这些都是在演讲会以后所发生的事。对这些事而论，九点钟的散会是开始而不是终了。因此“开始”这个概念，只有在对某一特指事物而言时，方有其意义，否则就没有意义。最初的开始，或绝对的开始，是根本无意义的。

　　佛法和其他宗教第二个不相同点：“佛法的目的，是要使人人成佛，但其他宗教，却绝不许可人成教主”。

　　佛教里有至高的佛陀，有菩萨，也有天神；但是佛教里的至尊的佛却与其他宗教的教主完全不同。要说明这一点，我想先对“佛”下个简单的定义。通常我们简称释迦牟尼佛为佛。在历史学家的眼光里，释迦牟尼佛是二千五百余年前印度的一位思想家；在佛教徒的心里，释迦牟尼佛是这个世界里佛教的创始人或教主，可是在佛法里，释迦牟尼佛是万万千千，在无尽世界中，无量诸佛中的一位佛。我这里所要向各位介绍的“佛”，是无量诸佛的通义，是广义的。我试下的 “佛”的定义如下：

　　“佛”是一个理智，情感和能力都达到最圆满境地的人格。让我重覆一遍：“佛”是理智、情感和能力都同时达到最圆满境地的人格。换句话说，佛是全智、全悲与大能的人。这里请注意佛法与其他宗教的不同点，佛不是万能，佛不能赐我们以解脱。他只能教导我们，我们还要凭自己的努力得解脱。佛不能使我们上天堂，或判我们入地狱。

　　佛不仅是和其他宗教中的万能教主不同，释迦牟尼佛且告诉我们：这个理智、情感及能力都能同时达到最圆满境地的人格（佛法中也叫做佛性）人人原都具有。只有像平静的湖面上起了波涛，失去了明镜似的水面一样；人类恋著于外境及现象，与假定的诸般设想，为所谓生存、名利、情爱、权力疲于奔命，一直到老死，还不觉悟，因此埋没了本具的佛性；使其本具的至高的理智，至富的情感及无限的能力，不能同时达到最圆满的境地，不能从烦恼苦痛中解放出来。佛陀（释迦牟尼佛）说法应世的目的，即是在教导众生，开显其本具的佛性。佛的悲愿，是要使人人及一切众生都成为和自己一样至善至上的佛陀。所以在佛的眼光中，一切人类及众生，同具佛性，一律平等。其他的宗教则不然。在其他的宗教中，其教主永远也不会希望他的信徒们和自己平起平坐的。

　　佛不以自己成佛为满足，他要人人成佛，也教导大家如何成佛。这一个一切平等、大智、大悲的怀抱，其伟大及深广处，确在一般宗教之上。总之，佛法是教人要有自尊自信，为使自己从生死痛苦中解脱出来，为使一切众生从生死痛苦中解脱出来。我们应该珍惜佛陀传给我们的教导方法，加倍努力，开显我们本具的佛性，使人人成佛，完成理智、情感、能力之最圆满境地的人格。

　　佛法与其他宗教的第三个不相同点：“佛法是一个具有包含性和圆通性的教理，其他的宗教，却多半是具有排外性的”。

　　佛法，尤其是大乘佛教的中心思想建筑在人人平等，众生皆有佛性的理论上。因此在佛教中，找不出像基督教十诫中的第一条：“你不可相信假神”之类的教义。基督教徒，以回教徒或印度教徒等等所信奉的神为邪神，回教徒或印度教徒，也认基督教徒的上帝为邪神。彼此都说，你不可信奉假神。问题是哪一个宗教的神是真的，哪一个是假的呢？这一个争端，竞致用战争去求解决，十字军东征，和基督教的新旧教战争，都是历史上的实例。佛教就没有这种毛病。佛法相信佛性平等，人人都可成佛，所以没有排外和专横的气氛。进一步说：佛教的大包涵性与大容纳性，能包涵容纳一切宗教的教义。任何宗教中所讲的理论，佛法中都具足。但佛法中不共的高深道理，却有很多在其他宗教中找不出来。例如就慈悲救世这一点来说：佛教不但与其他宗教有共同的讲法，还进一步有无缘大慈，和同体大悲的说法。广大菩提心和无尽庄严的菩萨行愿，以及甚深广大的空慧学，也是在任何宗教教义中找不出来的。佛法绝不诋毁其他宗教。佛法相信众生根器不同，教导之法，自不能泥一。各种宗教与哲学，皆有其价值和功用，各种宗教，皆能在某一时间空间中，对某一类众生发生教化与利益的作用。依循任何一种好的宗教，都可以使人在现世和未来世得到利益安乐。但如果要究竟解脱和圆满正觉，那就必需要完成究竟解脱和圆满正觉的条件。佛法认为一切宗教，只有深浅的区分，颇少邪正的差别。对任何一个问题，佛法都有几种不同深度的解说，来适应各种众生的需要。佛法这种包涵容摄万象的特性，真是广大无边，不尽其际，难测其底。

　　佛法与其他宗教第四个不同点：“其他宗教的神是有烦恼和有我见的；佛却是无烦恼的大自在解脱者”

　　一般宗教都说：如果人不信从教主，或是触犯了教主，教主就会发怒，会处罚人，甚至于会将他永远打入地狱受苦。在各种宗教的记载中，很容易见到教主震怒，降灾惩罚世人这一类的故事和训诫。

　　佛不会发怒，不审判众生；佛不会发脾气，送人入地狱。如果人会入地狱，那是他自己的业力，送他去的，决不是佛惩罚他而将他送入的。佛不但不送人入地狱，佛还要入地狱去救他出来！所以，佛法决不会恐吓人说：“你不要冒犯佛陀，否则佛陀发了怒，就会送你入地狱”。相反的，佛法却鼓励人，入地狱去度众生。地藏菩萨说：“我不入地狱，谁入地狱”，就是这种精神的表现！

　　佛法与其他宗教第五个不相同点：“佛教是民主的，和重理性的；但其他宗教多半是独断性和独裁性的”。

　　因为佛法的基本教义，有其先天的平等性，宽容性和包涵性，所以在佛教史上，所表现的，只是宽容和民主精神，与其他宗教的独断和不容忍精神，造成一个鲜明的对照。在佛教史上，固然没有宗教迫害和异端裁判等等事迹，而相反的，佛教和各宗各派，都有绝对自由的发言权，都可以随便发挥自己的意见，还可以批评其他宗派的主张。在其他宗教里，教主所说的话，是神圣不可过问的。教主的话，错也好，不对也好，教徒只许全部接受。但佛法却不然，佛教徒对佛陀所说的话，可接受或不接受。因为佛陀所说的道理，因佛教徒根基智慧的不一律，往往是多方面的；佛教徒可以接受佛陀所说的某一部份道理，而不接受其他一部份的道理。在佛经里，我们常常可以看到，释迦牟尼佛向弟子及听讲的人说：“我是真语者，实语者，不诳语者。”总是劝导听众，研究真理，注重理性，从没有用威吓强迫口吻或手段来叫人听从的。《妙法莲花经》上明白的载著：在佛要讲上乘难信的佛法时，竟有五千听众，自以为已经得到了解脱了的，不愿听讲，离席而去。佛陀不但没有发怒，追究或责罚，而只是说：“他们机缘还没有成熟，与其听了不相信引起反感，增加罪业，还不如让他们离开，也是好的”这是何等包涵，民主及伟大！

　　佛法与其他宗教的第六个不相同点：“佛法的爱是无限的；其他宗教的爱，是有限的”。

　　佛法的博爱和大悲，则是无限的，绝对的，无条件的。佛法的爱，不只及于全人类，而且及于全生物。佛法不但叫人要爱仇敌，而且叫人要爱异教徒。恒沙（印度恒河的沙，这是佛经里常常引用代表极多数的意思）众生，若不度尽，誓不成佛！进一步从哲理的观点来说佛法的爱，它是超越一切相的。这超越一切相的爱，和不可思议的空性合一，于了达一切法不可得中，无缘大悲，任运兴起；这个空悲不二的哲学，是佛教教义中，最高深最不可思议之处。这些教义，一下子是不容易懂的，但我想趁这个机会，在这里提一提，使各位有个印象。

　　西藏嘎马巴大师的“大手印”原文中，有几句说明上述的教义，非常有力；

众生自性虽常为佛性由不了知无际飘轮回
愿于苦痛无边有情众恒常生起能忍大悲心
难忍悲用未灭起悲时体性空义赤裸而显现
此离错谬最胜双运道愿不离此昼夜恒修观

　　诸法与此心的无生空性，是法尔现成的。情感至极的同体大悲，也是本来具足的。悟证诸法空性时，大悲心会不假做作，任运生起，这是微妙不可思议的事情！对于被无明习气所覆盖，不能开显本具佛性的有情，佛陀自然会生起无比的悲心。佛之慧眼，见我们众生之本性，皆是佛性；因此佛本能地觉得众生的不成佛，是他自巳的不够圆满，所以他会自然地尽未来劫，去成熟一切众生，使皆完成佛道的事业。有修证的学佛人，能常常有“我与诸佛同一体的”境界，而十方诸佛却时时刻刻在“我与众生同一体”的境界中。唯有从这种高深的法尔境界里兴起的大悲与博爱，方才是平等的，无偏私的，最彻底的，最圆满的，和超越一切分别和限量的爱。

　　佛法与其他宗教第七个不相同点：“佛法所教的往生净土，和其他宗教的永生天堂完全不同。”

　　一般不够了解佛法的人说：基督教祈祷上帝，死后登天堂，和佛教念佛往生净土，并没有什么不同，这话表面上看来，好像不错，但仔细研究一下，就知道其中有很大的差别。

　　佛教所讲的净土，却根本与此不同。佛法的宇宙观是无限的。大乘佛教，在开显诸佛广大庄严法界时，明白地说明宇宙的无限性。恒河沙数世界，也仅是无尽法界中的一粟罢了。所以其他宗教里的天堂，只有一个，而佛法中的净土，却多得不可思议。像阿弥陀佛的西方极乐世界，只不过是广大无边，无穷无尽的法界中的一处净土罢了。进而言之，佛法中了义的净土，可以在西方，也可以在东方，也可以即是这个世界。维摩诘经里说：“心净则国土净。”你能自净其心，此土即是净土。所以往生净土，与投身这个世界，本质上并无不同，也绝对不是一切的终点。

　　佛法根据因果的原理。认为以有限的善因，是不可能得到无限永生的善果的，所以上天堂去享受，将你的善因享受完了之后，还是要掉下来的。像仰天射箭一样，势力尽了之后，箭就又回跌下来。佛法的往生净土，是说凭借著你的善因，你就能够到一个良好的修行环境（净土）里去而已。在诸佛宏愿的感应下，整个环境都能助修行。修行有了成就，依照你自己的愿力，并不一定永远住在这个净土，而是要到他方无尽世界去和再到这个世界来度脱众生。

　　综结的说：往天堂去享乐实在是有限宇宙论者的自私和消极的幻恋；而往生净土再去修行，则是无尽悲愿菩萨的方便庄严！

迷与悟

友人问我最近是否很迷茫，老实说，我觉得每个人对自己的人生不多不少都会有迷茫。
因为，我认为有迷才有悟。
友人却说：悟了后又怎样?不知迷者以为已悟,已悟者成为不知迷,还不是一个圈　。
我却认为那不是真正的悟。真正的悟当然是看透了迷，而不是不知什么是迷。后而，不执着与迷悟，也不执着于执着与不执着。
我当然只是凡夫。。。希望没有把大家迷得头昏昏。。

礼敬诸佛

佛说：一切众生皆有如来智慧德相，但以妄想执著不能证得。
所以，普贤菩萨第一个叫我们要礼敬诸佛。这里所谓的佛，就是一切众生。
成佛的过程犹如提炼金矿。需要经过一番的提炼才得成果。
每个众生都是一块还没提炼的矿物。若能给与提炼便会成金。
可是，是不是每个众生都想成金？
有的人想，可是却害怕提炼的过程。
有的人甚至不相信自己可以提炼成金。
可悲啊。。。
所以，大家应互相尊重，礼敬。无论大家有多少不同，也不要因为大家的不同而起分别。礼敬诸佛。

但愿众生能早日证得菩提。

So, I'm gonna move forward to the things I wanna achieve in 2010.

1. To be able to swim!
2. Practice piano on a daily basis.
3. To be able to save up 5k by Dec 2010.
4. Play squash/do yoga at least once a week.
5. Finish reading the Harry Potter books.
6. Be discipline!
7. Get a pair of new sport shoes.
8. Get a new squash racket.
9. To talk less n work more. (according to the horoscope forecast, I need to practise that to keep myself away from trouble)
10. Perhaps a small vacation in Malaysia if I've achieved all the above things :-)

Which Way Is Up?

其实,"Which Way Is Up"是在阮经天身上的一个刺青. 意思是,该走那条路才好?是的,我的人生还是停留在十字路口.

大概是在中学时吧，大家都得选自己的路，譬如，选课系。读完中学后，就得选志愿。很老实的说，我其实没有什么大志。小时候的志愿只是想像我妈妈一样能干，可是我妈妈就只是一名家庭主妇。所以，中学以后，只想读个普通的课，当个会计师之类的，平平凡凡的过生活。可是我伟大的母亲却希望我能做一些比较冷门的职业之类的。那时候的我，就选着了读音乐工程系。还有，另外一个促使我的原因是为了想要有机会跟王力宏工作。不过，进了学校才懂，这条路真的不是那么好走。所以，意志力比较弱的我，现在已经距离这个原因越来越远了。现今的工作，虽然也是属于录音的性质，可是，都比较商业化。所以，我看不到自己的未来。

中学时期参与了一班学佛的朋友，如今，大家虽然还有在持续的作。可是，我的心态变了。因为，经历了某些事，让我对我自己的学佛的愿起了一个很大的问号。师兄曾经问我：学佛，对我有什么好处？人，生出来是为了什么？老实说，我答不出。至今，我还在寻找着答案。

我很羡慕那些有梦想的人，那些能坚持梦想的人。因为，我还没有找到属于自己的梦，还不能坚持自己的梦。

2) Nodame Cantabile... I've wathced the real person drama but not anime.. so, worth trying ;-)

Naruto Movie~ lately really into Naruto... 2 In 1 Value pack.... Of coz.. I'll buy :-p Later only collect this whole set :-p

3) The Cunning Monk... very nice for kids~ n for me too~ may be can use in the future Buddhist camp :-)

败犬女王の观后感

经过好友的推介所以看了《败犬女王》，正如好友所说的,这部剧很贴切我跟我好友有可能迈向的人生。所谓的败犬就是~年过30的未婚女性，无论事业上多有成就、在职场叱吒风云，但只要未婚，就是人生战场上一只败犬。

老实说，经历了一段让我伤得蛮深的感情后，确实让我不止对感情事，同时也对人生存有一点不想去想太多的态度。像我这种人就是不会爱自己，所以才常常有悲观的想法。虽然，看了些励志的书籍，让自己慢慢的去学习爱自己，可是这些就像剧里面所说的“勇气不是天生的”，所以要一点一滴的累积的。这点我虽然进行的有点慢，不过我想，有些东西是急不来的。

像剧里的女主角这类型的人，我觉得现今的社会还蛮多的。可是，像男主角酱的呢，我觉得大概只有在这种偶像剧里才有吧。不过，我还真的蛮欣赏女主角的能干，开朗和独立的性格。

此外，看到帅哥阮经天的演技，我觉得很不错。之前只是看过他在花样少男少女里演配角，那时已经觉得他的演技很不错，还好过男主角！所以，阮经天也加入了我喜爱的男艺人名单里咯！

总结呢，我觉得女人应该活出更精彩的自我。所以，我会好好的想想我的人生的旅途有什么是我想要完成的梦想，和订下梦想的时限。毕竟，有些梦想超过了某些岁数，就比较难实现。加油吧！庄念慈！我是独一无二的庄念慈！很多东西都没有如果。想清楚了就去做！xD

U mess with the settings; U get the shit sound!

I would say that this is the worst live sound scenario that I've ever encountered. Here goes the story:

The band ( consisting 1 drummer, 1 bassist, 1 pianist, 1 featured female singer & 1 featured male singer) were playing 2 nites on a pub, thus they were only got 1 sound check day. However, at the end of the first nite show, they requested another sound check & rehearsal on the next day. The reason being given is because the featured female singer fell sick, so they will bring in 2 substitute singers. However, the engineer only get the information that they just need a rehearsal, therefore, the engineer didnt agree to give them a sound check n specifically ask them not to touch the board's settings.

Next day, the engineer asked me to fill in for him. Upon reaching the venue, I talk to 1 of the substitude singer and was told that they had a soundcheck earlier today but without a sound engineer, so the bassist went to the board n give sound to the band. Then, I went to look at the board, the routing was changed, n the bass EQ setting was changed too. I was mad, I havent been in this kind of situation since the last live sound tour that I did. So, I went to ask the pub's manager what was going on and who gave them permission to touch the board, but no answers given. A mixing board is like a Chef's Knife, U dont mess with it!

Being annoyed I've prepared for a shitty mixed with my shitty emotion. So, upon starting the show, when I suppose to put on the lights when the deejay annouced the band, there were no lights! Coz dunno which loser go n turn off each individual stage lights switch (we usually leave them on n just turn off the master switch) thus the singer was talking on the dark stage for a few minutes until I managed to turn on the lights. That really added on my piss off emotion n I was really swearing on them.

Then, one of the band's ppl came n talk to the deejay n say that the drummer says that he could not hear his kick and wanted his kick on his monitor. Its a small place with a small stage and its only a 4 piece band, I could hear the kick clearly from the place I mix. I really dont understand why he can't hear. So, I tell the person straight to the face that I'm not going to give him any feed of his kick on his monitor. Unlucky her, she was the first person to get it from me.

Next up, another person from the band came up n tell me that the singer is too soft and wanted me to put her louder. I didnt respond to her request, instead, I asked the person, why did they do a sound check when they are not suppose to and they touch the board n change the settings? She gave excuse that they need it coz they have new members and needed sound check and they did put the settings back to original. I was almost shouting at her that they didnt put it back to the original settings, then she say may be the pub's workers change the settings and just pointing fingers to others. From my point of view, when u or person from ur team did something without permission, u should apologize! not point fingers to others! It pisses me off! So, I told her the singer is not singing comfortably in her range, I wont risk pushing up the faders n getting feedbacks! She was the second person to get it from me.

Then, another women came n ask me what's my name, because of the loud music and my temper I almost like shouting out my name on her, yeah, I was not being friendly especially at that time when I was mixing. Then, she say she is the Person In Charge there, and she ask if I was working under my friend. I hate it when ppl trying to show me who's the boss and some what like threathen me. So, I told her I'm NOT working for my fren n was just replacing him, then she say OK n just walked away. Later, the deejay told me she was the one supplying the bands, she is not in charged of the place. WTH! If i knew it earlier I would tell her in the face what kind of band is she supplying? Its a crap!

Finally, its the featured male artiste's turn to perform, he is a loud singer, with the same fader level, he is way louder that all the other singers that went up before him. He was so loud until the pianist sent a waiter up to me n request me to slow down the singer's feed on his monitor. But since the singer n pianist is sharing the same monitor, I just the waiter to tell him that I cant do it. The pianist is a soft player, its like he is playing in a hotel lounge or something. Well, I'm unsure if its the piano's problem (they just changed a new piano) or the pianist problem, the piano sounded soft.

So, I was having this shitty feelings until the end of the show. N I just went home straight after the show. I wont say that I'm being professional on my side, but musicians please do ur part well and band co-ordinaters please do ur part well also! Dont interfere!

And, I have yet to learn my EQ management...

I first saw the two dog siblings on 30th Dec 2008, my friend told me that they were rescued from a bunch of ppl who eat dogs' meat. So, they needed a shelter. I was reluctant at first, as I know my mom wouldn't agree to it. But I decided to try my luck, so I brought them home. But, I failed, then my neighbor was interested. So, she took them.

Until 23rd March 2009, my neighbor couldn't keep them anymore. Thus, I volunteered to help them to look for a shelter, but, no luck. So, I decided to ask permission from a friend to keep them at his empty house. It wasn't easy. Even not bringing them home my mom still nag me bout it. But, I guess she just gave up nagging me when she saw my determination and gave me some support by helping me prepare their food everyday. I travel everyday from my house to my friend's place to feed them.

I took Shan Ni (the female dog) to spay on May & Shan Jun ( the male dog) started to show some skin infection at the same time. Shan Ni recovered well and our bonding were much closer after that. On the other hand Shan Jun's skin infections started to worsen. Until lately, I took him to the vet, only I know that he got some serious skin problem that needs much attention n care.

Long story cut short, I feel raring a dog its almost like taking care a child, its all about the responsibility and the loving you need to have in order to take on the responsibility. Thanks to those who help me a lot along the way, couldn't have done it without them. Please be healthy, my children!

Recovering

I've been sick since last Thursday, I guess its due to all the heaty stuffs I've been stuffing into my stomach, lack of exercise, lack of rest and lack of drinking water. Thus, fever and throat infection. I'm still on MC until today but definitely not the AH1N1. & my throat infection has gone to my ear n it causes my ear to feel pain n blocked. I hope to recover soon and need to plan out some exercise to do everyday... I hope -_-" n eat more healthy.... ^_^

Put ShanNi back with ShanJun but she dont seem to get along with him anymore. I was sitting there for almost 4 hours trying to ease things out... But don't seem to work... How? I'm really really really worried... :-(

May Day

I've been quite busy this month, almost all my weekends were used for my family, pet & friends matters, not forgetting my work and my FB addiction.

May 1st week end was the Leehom concert & some cheesecake baking session.

May 2nd week end was Wesak & working OT (basically my OT does eat up all my time).

May 3rd week end was working OT & my cousin's Full moon dinner & manage to watch Sell Out.

May 4th week end helped a friend with some small house cleaning & working OT & manage to watch Angels & Demons.

This coming week end will need to do more clean up at my pets' place, and now both of them are wounded, ShanNi still got her stitches on, and ShanJun has got a big wound behind his neck. {this worries me alot, and I'm beginning to feel that I'm such a bad owner that cant take care of them :'( }

I think I need to really discipline myself in my time management and to stay focus on everything and one thing at a point. And ya... I need to try to stay away from the net.

I dont know what went wrong with me. Despite with the tight budget I'm facing nowadays, I was crazy enough to spend money to buy a few concert DVDs to see.

1) Mika Nakashima - Let's Music Tour 2005 ( I bought it mainly coz I have sudden craze on her song call Glamorous Sky)

2) TOTO - Falling in Between Live ( Coz this concert was so awesome, I wanna make sure I remember it)

3) STING - Inside ~ The Songs of Sacred Love ( Coz this have the making of it, and it shows Sting's recording studio at his house!!)

4) Keith Jarret, Oscar Peterson & Pavarotti (3 in 1 DVD collection...:-p)

Yup... I dont know why... may be it was the after effect of the Music Man concert...

Cyrenaics

Just out of the blue that I wanted to find what was the meaning of Cyrena, well it was a name that I put on my e-mail address, which I dont know what was the meaning...

Then, after Google-ing it .... walla~ I've found in Wikipedia... Cyrenaics... close enough to Cyrena... thus, below are the defination that is stated in Wiki.

The Cyrenaics were an ultra-hedonist Greek school of philosophy founded in the 4th century BC, supposedly by Aristippus of Cyrene, although many of the principles of the school are believed to have been formalized by his grandson of the same name, Aristippus the Younger. The school was so called after Cyrene, the birthplace of Aristippus. It was one of the earliest Socratic schools. The Cyrenaics taught that the only intrinsic good is pleasure, which meant not just the absence of pain, but positively enjoyable sensations. Of these, momentary pleasures, especially physical ones, are stronger than those of anticipation or memory. They did, however, recognize the value of social obligation, and that pleasure could be gained from altruism. The school died out within a century, and was replaced by the more sophisticated philosophy of Epicureanism.

Some of the interesting points:

The Cyrenaics held that pleasure was the supreme good in life, but pleasure primarily in the sense of bodily gratifications, which they thought more intense and more choice-worthy than mental pleasures.

The Cyrenaics were also known for their skeptical theory of knowledge.

Something About Music Man's concert in KL

I guess I’m getting older these days, don’t have any pre-concert “high” anymore. Chris & I got the RM 198 seats to watch the concert. And the seating was a big disappointment, unlike the previous concert, where the stage was in the middle of the stadium, the organizer has moved the stage way far from our seats. So, Lee Hom was just the size of half of my pinkie finger. Well seating far from the FOH, the sound quality also dropped quite a lot. Also, with the crowd that was cheering so much, I have to concentrate a lot to hear (I’m almost deaf nowadays). Despite all the seating & sound issue, the whole concert production was the best he has done so far. And more to come from him, I bet.

The stage was filled with four large moving screens. I like the presentation a lot. The graphics, images, pyro technics, I used to see the pyro technics only at the beginning and the end of his concerts. This time around more pyro were done.

He changed some of the line up of the musicians as well, but keeping his MD n guitarist. But, overall they were great. I like the way they rearrange some of his old songs, like 安全感，Can You Feel My World, etc... Added with some pop-rock style into it. Somehow, I think leehom’s custom made guitar tone was not that happening when playing with the band, and I think he needs to work on his guitar solo too. Of coz, his violin playing is still the best, this time around he played new tunes with his violin, usually he plays Julia but I like his new tunes, Wishing upon a star & 落叶归根.

Yea, n just like Chris has mention in her blog, most of his song selection is so blue n gray. "當奢下英雄的外衣，也只是需要愛情的普通男人" This was what he put on the screen. I just felt sorry bout the things he have to endure and sacrifices to his career.

It is always easier to be said then to practice it. Just that sometimes being treated as a fool or misunderstood by others does really makes me feel a bit uneasy. So, I'm gonna try this new way (writing it out) to release some of my thoughts, so they wont be too clogged inside my head. Well, the incidents that triggers my uneasiness are things to do with my work.

Yemini assigned me to edit some audition clips for a very important cartoon. Which by then I didn't realize that it was so big. I admit that I wasn't paying my full attention at work at that time. Hence, the client complaint bout the sound quality of the clips. My bad. Then, the client decided to come to the studio and have see the condition of it. So, after inspecting it, much rectifying is needed.

The client also listens to some of the parts that we've dubbed for that important cartoon & made comments. According to him, we need to do some re dubs parts as we didn't read the instruction letter given carefully & wasn't following the guide given. The client stayed until late in the night & just because I have matters to attend to, I left work on time, but Jancer asked why I left early. Leaving before work time ends is call early, I left after work but before you leave. So, that's considered early?

Later, Jancer call up a meeting to address the cartoon dubbing quality issue. One of the things that she addressed was that the Client pointed out so many missing VOs problems & she says it worries her that if the person who was doing editing didn't notice bout it. (I was the one who was doing the editing.) At that point, I didn't check with Yemini what were there missing VOs problem pointed out by the Client, cause I thought they were different from the one I've marked down. So, I kept quite. After, the meeting I went to checked the missing VOs problem with Yemini and found out almost all of the missing VOs problem are the ones I've marked it down & according to Yemini, he has told the Client bout the missing VOs were being marked down & being rectified. I wonder if Jancer knows about this? The way she addressed her concern on her worries bout my hearing & noticing makes me feel that she is hinting me of not doing things well? Or did I get her meaning wrong? However, it does makes me feel uneasy and I felt uneasy to explain the whole thing & let her think I was trying to cover things up.
